Ministries

ministries

We at Chapel of God’s Grace believe that each and every person is part of the Body of Christ, and therefore encourage all our members to be involved in any of the teams we currently have based on their calls. We also believe in nurturing and growing the gifts and talents in our church so that we may all come to the fullness of Christ.

Here are some of the ministries where you can serve in:

Pastoral Ministry

We at Chapel of God’s Grace believe that this ministry is related to pastors or shepherds to feed, raise, and guard the sheep or disciples. The pastors or shepherds spend time in the presence of the Lord until they get appropriate spiritual food for the flock. They also focus on pastoral care, counselling and the building up of the local churches and branches.

Worship Ministry

Since worship is to show reverence and adoration to our God, so we at Chapel of God’s Grace acknowledge that Worship belongs to God. He alone deserves it and above all this, He is the only and unique object of worship therefore we seek to please Him through it. We also believe in the spirit of excellence, hence we aspire to develop untapped talent in Worshipping and Praising God in Spirit and truth with Excellency and Skilfulness.

 Ministry of Helps
We at Chapel of God’s grace believe that the work of any ministry is accomplished when an individual’s integrity of heart, allows their centre of vision and concern to be moved from themselves to others. When an individual’s understanding of team Ministry is complete, they will know that their position on the team is secondary to the Team effort, which is primary.

This ministry of help includes:

Ushering Ministry

We at Chapel of God’s Grace believe that Ushering is a supernatural ministry and without it in place, there will never be a proper order in church. This ministry is the pure reflection of the attitude of the church. It tells to visitors whether this church is a lovely environment with kind people or not because the first impression lasts.

Hospitality Ministry:

The Hospitality Ministry Team assists in the magnification and the multiplication of the gospel throughout Seattle and to the ends of the earth by nurturing a warm, welcoming environment and catalyzing relational connections within The Hallows Church community.

Ministry Vision

The vision of the Hospitality Ministry Team is to highlight Jesus' selfless love for all people. The goal is to make The Hallows Church a welcoming, safe environment for all people, making them feel at home with us and assisting them with any needs they might have. Serving on this team provides believers of Christ an opportunity and outlet to extend this love of Christ.

Ministry Responsibilities

1. Greeting:

Weekly Greeters will arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of our worship gatherings in order to greet guests and provide them with weekly handouts. They will "man" the doors for 10- 15 minutes after service starts to greet anyone else who may arrive late. They will also help "exit greet" at the conclusion of gatherings.

2. Follow Up:

Volunteers on the HMT (Hospitality Ministry Team) will assist in following up with our guests, particularly through contacting those who fill out a membership forms.

3. Connecting:

Volunteers will help connect newcomers and new covenant members relationally with other members in the church.

Evangelism Ministry (Soul winning/ Outreach)

We at Chapel of God’s Grace believe that Evangelism is core of Christianity. It is obeying and following the instructions of our Master Jesus Christ. Evangelism is used at Chapel of God’s Grace with one purpose: To depopulate the kingdom of darkness and populate the kingdom of God. We are so much aware that we are living in the end times so there is no much time to waste since our Lord Jesus Christ is on His way to rapture His Bride (Church)

We live and breathe evangelism. And we are very happy and fulfilled to see souls being won for the Kingdom of our God the Father.

We also believe to have received a divine mandate from our sending Lord Jesus who said to His disciples: As my Father has sent Me, so I also send you (John 20:21). We believe to be commissioned by our Lord Jesus to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). These mandate and commission are priorities for us.

2 Kings 4:29 - "Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child."
