To be a church where people experience the transformational love of our Lord Jesus
Christ (John 13:34)
Reaching people in the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to inspire them and to transform their lives through God’s Grace.
The community to be reconciled with God through Christ and they may come to the point of understanding the grace of God and who they really are in Christ which is their identity.
✓ Statement of faith:
We believe in God, who reveals Himself in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, and that all believers stand before God on an equal basis.
We believe in the complete deity and the complete humanity of Jesus Christ.
We believe that we are all sinners needing a Saviour, and that salvation is only and altogether through simple faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, arose and intercedes for us.
We believe that good works, while not necessary for salvation, naturally result from the lordship of Christ in our lives.
We believe that a Christian is one who has experienced the new birth or spiritual regeneration, accepting Christ as Lord and Saviour.
We believe in the resurrection of the body and the personal second coming of Christ to judge the world.
We believe in the Bible as God’s Holy Word, which is our guide and final authority in all matters relating to the Christian faith and life.
We accept the Pastor’s Creed as being a correct summary of Biblical teaching.
Do what Jesus would do now
Chapel of God’s Grace was founded by Apostle Basile and Dolly Makole in 2012 (Monument Park, Pretoria).
God has put in our hearts a heavy desire to preach and teach salvation in its simplest form to the lost, by reaching out to the unchurched and lost with the Gospel or Good News of God’s grace that leads to salvation. So because of the space, we were compelled to move from Monument Park to Rooiwal Community in Pretoria North. But unfortunately, the place was not convenient for the church and found ourselves in the obligation of moving again from there (Rooiwal Community) to Doornpoort 1. To be honest, Doornpoort was an idyllic location for the church but the only challenge was that we were renting the premises of the NG Kerk, and because of that, we were obliged to play according to their rules. In short, we were not free to lead the church the way we were supposed to because we were doing things under the instructions of the NG Kerk. Unfortunately, there came a time where for no specific reason, they decided to not renew our contract with them.
Then, we immediately realized that was simply a way to kick us out of their premises and there was nothing else we could do about it at that point of time but to focus our prayers unto God for our own place. While praying, we were also busy looking for another venue for the church. God heard our prayers and answered us by providing a new venue for us in a very strategic place that we call “the heart of Montana”. Glory be to God. So we moved from Doornpoort to the new venue where we are currently based.
God has revealed Himself to us as a sending God. The same God who said to Jonah arise, go to Nineveh that great city and cry against it (Jonah1:2) is the same God who told Peter to rise to go down to Caesarea to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Cornelius and his household (Acts10:20). The God who said to Jeremiah, don't say, I am only a youth for to all to whom I send you, you shall go (Jeremiah1:7) is the same God who, when the time had fully come...sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption (Gal.4:4-5). And when Jesus said to His disciples" As the Father has sent Me,
This was and still is addressed personally to us even so I send you (John 20:21), and has become that heavy desire in our hearts.
